ME HQ moved to Dubai

Kuehne + Nagel, one of the worlds leading logistics providers, has relocated its Middle East regional headquarters from Istanbul to Dubai.

The company was the first international logistics provider to go fully operational in Dubai Logistics City (DLC) in 2009. Kuehne + Nagel's logistics facility features 17,000 sqm of warehouse space and has developed into the principal distribution hub for the company in the Middle East.

Reinhard Lange, CEO of Kuehne + Nagel International, spoke of the importance of Dubai, "as a global city and international business hub, it offers favourable conditions for further expansion of our transport and logistics network as well as further investments in our contract logistics business."

At the heart of the planned expansion is Kuehne + Nagel's state-of-the-art logistics centre, located in the DLC which will allow Kuehne + Nagel to even better serve its customers by providing integrated logistics services and increase efficiencies.

"Due to the increasing demand for our integrated services, we will expand our site in DLC to a total of 32,000 sqm warehouse space.," Lange said.
